Baby Songs

The organizer divides the attendees into groups. The size of the groups and the number of groups will vary, depending on how many guests there are.

Each group is given a pen and a paper. They are then give 3 minutes to write down as many songs as they can with the word baby in it.

The group that can list the most songs is the winner.

Baby Taboo

When each guest arrives they are given a diaper pin, and are asked to pin it to their shirt. To start the game, someone makes the announcement that the game is beginning, and you are not allowed to say the word "baby", it is taboo. If someone says the word baby, the first person to catch them takes the diaper pin from the offender. The person who has collected the most amount of pins at the end of the game is the winner.

You may also consider using a word other than "baby" as the taboo word. Just announce to the group the word that you have selected.

A prize may be given out to the winner, as this will add to the enjoyment of the game.

Paper Surprise

The organizer should get several small gifts, and some old newspapers. The most valuable gift is wrapped in a sheet of newspaper. Then wrap several other sheets on top of that paper forming a ball. When you have enough sheets wrap another small gift in te newspaper, still forming a ball. Then wrap even more sheets creating a large ball.

The guests should gather in a circle in the room. Each guest gets to remove one layer of the ball. Then the ball is passed the next guest. They in turn get to remove a layer. If the guest unwraps a layer an they find a gift it is theirs to keep. The grand prize winner is the one who unwraps the last sheet.

The gifts, should be too delicate as fragile items may get broken in handling.

Guess the size of the baby

This game requires a ball of yarn and some scissors. Each guest is to cut a length of yarn that they think will fit around the mothers stomach. They may not check their own waists with the yarn, but must guess. They can't check their neighbors waist either.

Then each person takes their turn putting the yarn on the pregnant mom's waist, and the one who made the most accurate guess wins.

Who's the real baby?

On the invitations to the party, ask each guest to bring along a picture of themselves as a baby. When the guests arrive they should give their picture to the organizer. The organizer will need to make note of which picture corresponds to which guest. They may mark the back of the photo, or lay it on a bulletin board with a number below it.

When all the photos are laid out, each guest gets a chance to guess which baby picture corresponds to the guest. The person who matches the most baby photos with the correct person is the winner.

Alternatively, the organizer could give out a sheet of paper to each guest and then, hold up the pictures and let everyone write down who they think the baby is. The organizer would then check each piece of paper for the most correct answers.
